Veggie BurgersVeggie Burgers   

  • 2 cups fine oatmeal
  • 2 teaspoons mixed herbs (ground rosemary/sweet basil/thyme/etc.)
  • 1 teaspoon powdered turmeric and hing
  • 1 1/2 cup boiling water
  • 1/2 cup tahini
  • 1/2 cup well-cooked garbanzo beans, mashed
  • 2 cup dry breadcrumbs
  • 5 tablespoons soy sauce or Braggs
  • 1 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup celery, finely minced
  • 2 tablespoons tomato paste
  • 1/4 cup parsley, finely chopped

DescriptionDescription  A homemade veggie burger recipe using oatmeal, garbanzo beans and bread crumbs.
InstructionsInstructions  n a bowl, mix oatmeal, herbs and hing Add the boiling water, mix thoroughly and let cool. Fold in all other ingredients and knead until well-combined. Using a 1/2 cup measuring cup as a mold, make 16 burgers . Heat oil in a skillet and fry burgers in batches until golden brown on each side.
